FRENCH shipping giant cma CGM has announced an improved coverage of North European ports with its SAFRAN service linking North Europe and East Coast South America.
Bremerhaven, Germany (DEBRV) will be added to the weekly schedule to serve as direct gateway to/from East Coast South America, and to provide intra-Europe solutions, reports London's Port Technology.
The French shipping company noted that the new rotation will be the following: London, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Antwerp, Tanger, Santos, Paranagua, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Rio Grande, Paranagua, Santos and Tanger.
The first sailing for the North Europe exports/Southbound is due to leave Bremerhaven on February 22, 2024.
Similarly, the East Coast South America exports/Northbound is scheduled to depart in Buenos Aires on February 17, 2024.
This month, CMA CGM's Short Sea Lines Division reshuffled the Tyrrex 2 service from Malta to Western Italy, Sicily, Malta, and Algeria.
