FRENCH shipping giant cma CGM has enhanced its BSMAR service connecting Black Sea and Turkey with Morocco, as from June 2021, reports Container News.
The carrier said that the transit and lead times will be improved, shortening the service rotation duration from 35 to 28 days, partly due to terminal berthing windows reconfiguration and single call in Algeciras.
The port rotation of the updated BSMAR service will be Odessa, Constanta, Ambarli, Aliaga, Piraeus, Malta, Valencia, Casablanca, Algeciras, Malta, Piraeus, Gebze and returning to Odessa.
The Marseille-based container line will deploy four vessels with a nominal capacity from 3,500 to 4,300 TEU on the weekly service.
CMA CGM has published the following ocean transit time references to and from Casablanca: 14 days from Odessa, 12 days from Constanta, 9 days from Aliaga, 4 days from Malta, 1.5 day from Valencia, 4.5 days to Malta, 7 days to Piraeus, 9 days to Gebze, 11 days to Odessa and 13 days to Constanta.
