It has 41 shipping routes for container trade that cover the main coastal ports of China, the Republic of Korea, and Japan.
The Port of Tangshan went from 493 million tonnes to 702 million tonnes over the last five years, with container throughput rising from 1.52 million TEU to 3.12 million TEU, causing an annual growth of seven per cent and 17.5 per cent, respectively.
