CHINA's NewNew Shipping Line announced it would deploy five ice-class vessels, from 1,200-to 2,500 TEU, to serve on the Northern Sea Route in the Russian Arctic, reports Bangalore's Marine Insight.
These ships will operate between china and Russia, as confirmed by company spokesman Jing Ke.
According to a company official, if the weather conditions permit, the shipping period might be extended until November.
