Iran's IRGC warns of potential attacks, urging evacuation of Khalifa, Jebel Ali, and Fujairah ports amid escalating tensions.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that due to potential attacks that could be organized in the coming hours, a warning for evacuation has been issued for the residents near Khalifa Port in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Jebel Ali Port in Dubai, and Fujairah Port.
As violent clashes continue between the United States-Israel and Iran, the IRGC has published evacuation warnings for the ports in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
The statement called on the civilian population and port workers near Khalifa Port in Abu Dhabi, Jebel Ali Port in Dubai, and Fujairah Port to leave the area immediately. It was noted that these regions have become legitimate targets due to the presence of U.S. military assets near civilian settlements and that they could be targeted in the coming hours. A visual accompanying the warning included map details regarding the ports that could be targeted.
Ibrahim Zulfikari, spokesperson for the Hatem al-Anbiya Central Headquarters affiliated with the IRGC, previously stated, 'After the destruction of the U.S. aggressive army's military bases in the region, they have targeted parts of Iran's Abu Musa Island and Greater Tunb Island with missiles by using the ports, docks, and hiding places in the UAE.'
Iran sees targeting the locations from which U.S. enemy missiles are launched at the ports, docks, and shelters where U.S. soldiers are located in some cities of the UAE as its legitimate right to defend its national sovereignty and territory. We urge the Muslim population living in the UAE and the residential areas to evacuate the ports, docks, and the locations where U.S. soldiers are hiding to avoid harm.
