UPS expands its North American Air Freight with new time-definite services to Mexico, enhancing speed and visibility for customers.
UPS will expand its North American Air Freight business with new time-definite heavy freight services to and from Mexico, reported London's Air Cargo News.
Starting in August, the company will introduce one, two, and three-day service options designed to move high-value, time-sensitive parts with greater speed and predictability. The expansion aims to reduce delays at the US-Mexico border and improve visibility for customers.
UPS stated that the wider business integrates transportation, brokerage, and warehousing into a single solution to simplify cross-border shipping and reduce handoffs. The company has also built a dedicated team of more than 300 experts in automotive and industrial manufacturing, supported by thousands of employees across its network.
Matt Guffey, UPS chief commercial and strategy officer, mentioned that customers want reliability, visibility, and a partner that understands their supply chains end to end. He added that UPS has made strategic investments to build the team and network to meet those needs.
