The 'Arosa Nueve' ran aground between Tromsøya and Kvaløyaon June 13, 2018, in the Sandnes Sound. The police was notified at 9.17 p.m. A patrol boat and the fire department in Tromsø with a boat attended at 9.40 p.m. for investigations. At 10.10 p.m. a tug was enroute to the grounding site. No pollution was oberserved. At 11.30 p.m. the trawler was refloated and berthed at Solstrand in Tromsø The grounding was caused by a technical failure of the ship's autopilot.
