The 'Keewhit' ran aground in pos 54 38 9.6 N 5 52 23.4, on July 23, 2018, at 2.08 p.m. with a crew of 10 on board. Two tugs assisted in safely refloated the tanker which was escorted back to a berth at the Richardson's Wharf in Belfast the same day by the tug 'Eileen McLoughlin' where it remained stationary on July 24.
