STM is showcasing its unmanned systems and military vessel designs at the EURONAVAL maritime defense exhibition, which opened in Paris on November 3rd. According to a report from Anadolu Agency, among the vehicles introduced to international naval representatives are the autonomous underwater vehicle NETA and the strike surface vessel YAKTU, which can operate in swarms.
In the NETA family model, which can operate at depths of up to 300 meters, sonar is used to detect and distinguish mines and mine-like objects. According to STM, the NETA 300 is sized for two personnel to operate.
The company is also presenting the supply and logistics support vessel it built for the Portuguese Navy among manned ships, as well as the İstif-class frigate and the MPAC assault boat. The STM500 submarine design is also featured at the exhibition. The fair at Paris Nord Villepinte will continue until November 6th.
