In 2025, SSA Marine Mexico handled 2.06 million TEU, dominating container volumes at Manzanillo and enhancing its national presence.

SSA Marine Mexico handled 2.06 million TEU across its three terminals in 2025, leading container traffic at Manzanillo with 1.65 million TEU, reports UK's Seatrade Maritime News.

Figures from the Ministry of the Navy showed that Manzanillo processed 3.89 million TEU last year, maintaining its position as Mexico's busiest container port. SSA Marine Mexico accounted for the largest share, supported by coordination with shipping lines, port authorities, and logistics stakeholders.

The Specialised Container Terminal contributed 80.3 percent of SSA Marine Mexico's national volume, while the Tuxpan Port Terminal grew by 800 TEU, lifting its share by seven percent. The Manzanillo Multipurpose Terminal added nearly 343,000 TEU, or 17 percent of the total.

SSA Marine Mexico stated that the results highlight its role in operating Manzanillo and Tuxpan, and pledged to continue generating added value through personalized services for customers.
