RMK Marine Delivers the First Ship of the Chemical Tanker Project T. Florya

RMK Marine, one of Turkey's leading shipyards, has completed the construction, testing, and commissioning processes of the T. Florya, the first of two 12,000 DWT chemical tankers built for Ditaş Maritime, and has delivered the vessel.

Measuring 125 meters in length, the T. Florya was designed by Delta Marine with the goals of high operational efficiency, safety, and cargo flexibility. Equipped with modern systems compliant with international maritime standards, the ship was built with a technical infrastructure capable of responding to various operational needs and advanced system integration for global chemical transportation operations.

    High Engineering and Integration Competence

With the delivery of the T. Florya, RMK Marine has once again demonstrated its comprehensive shipbuilding competence, spanning from design and engineering to production, system integration, testing, commissioning, and delivery processes. The project, which combines the shipyard's engineering expertise across different disciplines and its capability to realize high-tech projects, serves as an important reference supporting RMK Marine's strong position in the commercial shipbuilding sector.

Dr. Utku Alanç, General Manager of RMK Marine, stated the following regarding the delivery:

"We see the successful delivery of the T. Florya ahead of the expected project schedule as a significant milestone reflecting RMK Marine’s engineering strength, production competence, and high-quality standards. Throughout all processes from the initial phase of the project to delivery, we showcased the expertise of our teams and our strong project management capabilities. We take pride in having built a ship that meets high safety, efficiency, and performance criteria, centered around our customer's operational needs. Following the T. Florya, we continue the construction process of its sister ship, the T. Tarabya, with the same engineering and quality understanding."

    Next Delivery: T. Tarabya

The second 12,000 DWT chemical tanker, T. Tarabya, built for Ditaş Maritime under the same project, was successfully launched in September 2026. After the testing and commissioning processes of the T. Tarabya, delivery is planned for the first quarter of 2027. The twin ship project showcases RMK Marine's experience in constructing commercially developed vessels tailored to operational requirements and its end-to-end project management capabilities. Operating across various segments from military vessels to commercial ships and superyachts, RMK Marine continues to develop high value-added and innovative projects for international markets by leveraging its engineering expertise, technology investments, and strong production infrastructure.
