İÇDAŞ Shipyard has delivered the M/T Listraum to Utkilen Shipping AS, featuring advanced eco-friendly technology and efficient design.
The M/T Listraum, constructed at the İÇDAŞ Shipyard, has been delivered to Utkilen Shipping AS. The Norwegian shipowner announced that the delivery took place on October 22. The development regarding the second tanker in the four-vessel newbuilding program was reported by Denizhaber.net on November 2.
According to Utkilen's statement, the tanker is equipped with stainless steel cargo tanks and multi-fuel engines capable of using LNG. It was noted that efficiency was considered in the hull design, and thanks to the infrastructure suitable for battery and shore power connections, emissions-free operation during port stays is targeted.
The shipowner reported that the vessels in the series are designed for high-capacity loading and unloading operations. With these features, it is aimed to shorten the turnaround time in port and to conduct tank cleaning more efficiently. With the delivery of the Listraum, two of the four vessels in the program have been completed. The company's announcement did not disclose the contract value or the exact delivery dates for the remaining two tankers.
