Qatar Airways Cargo introduces a weekly Boeing 777 freighter service to Yerevan and Tbilisi, enhancing cargo capacity starting 27 February.

Qatar Airways Cargo will launch a weekly Boeing 777 freighter service linking Doha with Yerevan, Armenia, and Tbilisi, Georgia, starting 27 February. The new route adds 100 tonnes of cargo capacity each way per flight, reports Mumbai's STAT Times.

The rotation will operate DOH-EVN-TBS-DOH once a week, with the aircraft departing Doha at 11:55 hours, stopping in Yerevan and Tbilisi, and returning to Doha at 22:45 hours the same day. This service provides dedicated freighter lift to both Armenia and Georgia, supplementing existing connections via the carrier's Doha hub.

Qatar Airways Cargo stated that the widebody freighter will handle general freight and time-sensitive shipments. With 100 tonnes of capacity each way, the new operation increases available lift from the South Caucasus region.

The introduction of the weekly freighter expands the carrier's scheduled network in the South Caucasus and offers additional routing options for cargo moving between the region and international markets.
