Ocean Network Express has received its new 13,900TEU vessel ONE Simplicity from Imabari Shipbuilding, enhancing its fleet capabilities.
Japanese container line Ocean Network Express has taken delivery of a new vessel from Imabari Shipbuilding, reported Melbourne's Baird Maritime. The ship, named ONE Simplicity, follows the sister vessel ONE Serenity, which was delivered in December 2025.
ONE Simplicity has an overall length of 335.94 metres, a beam of 51 metres, a draught of 30.1 metres, and a gross tonnage of 140,233. A MAN 7G95ME-C10.6 main engine provides a service speed of about 22 knots.
The vessel can carry 13,932 containers and is fitted with up to four lashing points on deck. This allows for the carriage of reefer containers both in the holds and on deck, as well as dangerous goods under the IMDG Code.
Designed with an optimised hull form using advanced analytical technologies, the ship features energy-saving devices, a twisted rudder, and friction-reducing coatings. These measures improve fuel efficiency during high-frequency voyages.
ONE Simplicity is registered in Liberia and built to Lloyd's Register standards.
