Ocean Network Express launches a Red Sea-China service, enhancing connectivity with major Chinese ports starting January 15, 2026.
Ocean Network Express (ONE) has announced the launch of a new Red Sea-China service, which will connect major Chinese load ports with gateways in the Red Sea, as reported by Saint Petersburg's PortNews.
This service aims to enhance connectivity between China and the Red Sea region, commencing with the vessel SSF Dream, scheduled to arrive in Shanghai on January 15, 2026.
The service's published rotation includes the ports of Shanghai, Qingdao, Nansha, Shekou, Jeddah, Sokhna, Aqaba, and back to Jeddah, before returning to Shanghai and Qingdao. Notably, the voyage will transit the Bab al-Mandeb Strait but will not pass through the Suez Canal.
Founded in 2017 through the integration of the container businesses of Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Mitsui OSK Lines, and Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha, Ocean Network Express is headquartered in Singapore. The company operates a global fleet of over 260 vessels, with a total capacity exceeding two million TEU.
