The world’s biggest cargo ship Maxi Brazil transited the Suez Canal for the third time with a cargo of 246,000 tons. “Maxi Brazil has transited the canal from Ukraine and headed to South Africa with a cargo of 246,000 tons of raw iron on board,” Mohab Memish, the Head of the Suez Canal Authority, said. Memish said a group of qualified navigators from the canal authority helped the ship transit the waterway. Maxi Brazil is 320 meters long and 54 meters wide with a draught of 63 meters. Memish had earlier visited workers of the Suez Canal’s Naval Arsenal to get acquainted with their demands.
