    The Maritime Nation Project Competition awarded innovative maritime projects, showcasing the future of the industry with 49 submissions this year.

    Innovative Projects in the Maritime Industry Awarded: The Results of the Maritime Nation Maritime Country Project Competition Announced

    The results of the Maritime Nation Maritime Country Project Competition, organized for the fourth time this year by the İMEAK Chamber of Shipping, have been announced. The competition aims to bring innovative, applicable, and value-added projects to the maritime sector, and this year a total of 49 project applications were submitted.

    As a result of evaluations conducted by juries consisting of expert academicians and industry representatives, 9 projects qualified for the finals. The finalists presented their projects to the jury members during a presentation program held on June 10 at the İMEAK Chamber of Shipping Assembly Hall. Following the presentations, scoring was conducted to determine the winning projects.

    The first prize was awarded to the 'MARBEE – NDT Drone' project.

    As a result of the evaluations, the first prize of the competition was awarded to the 'MARBEE – NDT Drone' project prepared by Doğuhan Hazar Cengiz.

    The second prize was won by the project 'MALTİS: Magnetic Torque Based Lateral-Axial Underwater Propulsion System,' developed by Umut Şahan.

    The third prize was awarded to the project 'AeroFOLD Wind Turbine Technology's Maritime Application,' prepared by Tarık Özkul.

    The competition aims not only to encourage the development of innovative technologies that meet the needs of the maritime sector but also to integrate young entrepreneurs and researchers into the industry.

    The awards will be presented at the Turkey Maritime Summit.

    The award ceremony for the 4th Maritime Nation Maritime Country Project Competition will be held as part of the 5th Turkey Maritime Summit organized by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure at Tersane Istanbul.

    The award ceremony will take place on Friday, July 3, between 10:30 and 10:45, with the participation of the project owners who ranked in the competition. The successful projects will be introduced to the public at the summit, which will be attended by both industry representatives and public institutions.
