Zhejiang Leapmotor's exports soared nearly 400% in 2025, fueled by its partnership with Stellantis, according to the South China Morning Post.
Chinese electric vehicle maker Zhejiang Leapmotor Technology reported exports rising nearly 400 per cent in 2025, driven by its partnership with European car giant Stellantis, reported Hong Kong's South China Morning Post.
The Hangzhou-based company said it shipped 67,052 units last year, up from 13,726 in 2024. This made Leapmotor the leading exporter among emerging Chinese EV makers.
The surge followed the formation of a joint venture with Stellantis in May 2024, which began selling cars across major European markets in September that year.
Revenue from Europe jumped 479 per cent year-on-year to CNY5.6 billion (US$810 million) in 2025. This helped lift total annual revenues to CNY64.73 billion, a 101 per cent increase from the previous year.
