IDO announces its Spring and Summer ferry schedules, enhancing travel options across the Marmara Region from April to September 2026.

Istanbul Sea Buses (IDO) announced the Spring Schedule, which will be valid from April 1 to June 28, 2026, and the Summer Schedule, which will be implemented from June 29 to September 6, 2026. With the newly planned services connecting the Marmara Region to Istanbul, IDO offers a well-structured and comfortable travel network for both daily transportation and summer density.

Wide and Integrated Transportation Network in Marmara

Under the new schedule, IDO continues to provide fast ferry connections to coastal centers such as Yalova, Bursa (Güzelyalı), and Bandırma from Istanbul with its extensive transportation network in the Sea of Marmara. Additionally, it plans sea bus services to domestic tourism and summer destinations such as Armutlu Holiday Village, Armutlu, Çınarcık, Esenköy, and the islands of Marmara and Avşa according to the season and demand intensity. The Eskihisar-Topçular car ferry line, which serves as an alternative to land traffic around Marmara, operates 24/7, forming an important part of the maritime transportation network.

Under the new schedule, the sea bus, fast ferry, and car ferry lines will continue to operate in coordination. During the spring period, weekend getaways and day trips will be highlighted, while the summer schedule has been optimized according to the anticipated intensity in parallel with the increasing demand for passengers and vehicles during the holiday season.

Dr. Murat Orhan, General Manager of IDO, stated the following regarding the new schedule period:

“Traveling in the Sea of Marmara offers an alternative that is free from traffic stress and saves time. During this period, which extends from the refreshing atmosphere of spring to the dynamic pace of summer, we continue to provide our passengers not just a transportation service, but a planned, comfortable, and safe experience.”

“We have planned our services according to the high demand, especially for passengers who want to escape the city for a short break on Saturdays and Sundays. Thus, with our early morning departures, our passengers can make the most of their day. The sea route turns the time lost in land traffic into a gain.”

Comfortable Service Experience Onboard and at the Terminal

IDO transforms the travel time into an enjoyable experience with its modern fleet, spacious passenger lounges, and café services. Regular waiting areas, guidance services, and accessibility solutions provided in terminal areas ensure a comfortable travel environment for all passengers.

Digital Convenience and Flexible Ticket Transactions

Ticket purchasing, changes, and refund processes can be carried out quickly and easily through IDO's official website and the IDO Mobile application. Passengers can access real-time information about departure times and follow campaigns and announcements through digital channels. The IDO Car Ferry Mobile application, developed for car ferry users, offers special passage advantages and operational conveniences.

Additional services planned throughout the season and capacity adjustments based on density will continue to be shared regularly on digital platforms.

Tickets for the 2026 Spring and Summer Schedule are available for purchase at www.ido.com.tr and the IDO Mobile application.
