    Hat-San's New Giant Investment 'Gazanfer Bilge' Has Started Its First Mission

    YALOVA – Hat-San Shipyard, one of the leading organizations in the Turkish shipbuilding sector, has officially put into service its newly completed floating dock 'Gazanfer Bilge,' which was built with significant investments. The giant dock, which is at the center of the shipyard's growth strategy for 2024-2026, has commenced its operational process by welcoming its first vessel.

    First Guest MV Sider Cartagena

    The Gazanfer Bilge dock, with a lifting capacity of 19,000 tons, has received the 136-meter-long bulk carrier MV Sider Cartagena, owned by Nova Ship Tech SA, for its first maintenance operation.

    Technical Details

    The dock, which is 230 meters long and 38 meters wide, is designed to accommodate Panamax-sized vessels. The project, realized with an investment cost of approximately 875 million TL, aims to enhance Turkey's competitiveness in the international ship maintenance and repair market.
