The two ships of the Greek cruise operator Celestyal were planned to start voyages in the Eastern Mediterranean, including Kuşadası, from March 20. So far, there has been no development in attempts to get the ships out of the bay, and it is likely that the voyages, which would bring thousands of tourists to Ege Port Kuşadası throughout the season, will be canceled.
Celestyal Journey is currently in Qatar, while Celestyal Discovery is in Dubai.
Celestyal Journey, which operates in the Mediterranean during the summer months and on routes to Arab countries during the winter months, has a capacity of 1,260 passengers and 600 crew members. According to Tek Referans, this mid-sized ship, which has 630 cabins, is currently located in Qatar. Celestyal Discovery, on the other hand, is currently in Dubai, which is under the threat of Iranian missiles. The ship has a capacity of 1,266 passengers and 389 crew members.
