    A vessel was hit in the Strait of Hormuz, with crew casualties reported. Omani teams are conducting rescues, and an investigation is underway.

    The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) has announced that a vessel was struck in the Strait of Hormuz.

    In a statement made by UKMTO, it was noted that an unknown object hit the engine room of the vessel. Following the incident, it was reported that some crew members were missing. Omani teams intervened, and UKMTO reported that other crew members aboard the vessel were being rescued by the Omani Coast Guard.

    After the incident, it was recorded that authorities have launched an investigation to determine how the attack occurred and the extent of the damage to the vessel.

    The Strait of Hormuz is considered one of the most critical transit points for global oil and energy transportation, and it is emphasized that any attacks or security incidents occurring in the region could have significant implications for international maritime transportation.
