FlyUs Aviation Group has been appointed GSSA for Riyadh Cargo in France, Spain, and Portugal, enhancing its European partnership with the airline.
FlyUs Aviation Group has been named General Sales and Service Agent (GSSA) for Riyadh Cargo in France, Spain, and Portugal, expanding its European partnership with the airline, reported London's Air Cargo Week.
The appointment builds on FlyUs' role as Riyadh Cargo's GSSA in the UK and Ireland since October 2025, coinciding with the carrier's launch of services to London Heathrow. It also follows the introduction of a Riyadh-branded trucking service connecting the Benelux region with the airline's network via Heathrow.
FlyUs president and chief executive officer Carlo de Haas stated that the new markets reflect the strength of the partnership. He noted that the company's local teams possess extensive knowledge and long-standing relationships with forwarders in France, Spain, and Portugal, enabling dedicated sales representation and direct access to Riyadh Cargo's growing network.
Riyadh Cargo indicated that the expansion supports Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 strategy to position the Kingdom as a global logistics hub. Pravin Singh, global head of cargo at Riyadh Air, praised FlyUs' understanding of the airline's business and customers, calling the company a valued partner.
Under the agreement, FlyUs will oversee cargo sales, customer support, and capacity management in all three markets, thereby strengthening Riyadh Cargo's European offering and extending its global reach.
