    In a storm and 14 meter high waves the 14 sailors had to abandon the Norwegian 39m fishing boat  "Kamaro" on Oct 26. They were told to jump into the sea before they were hoisted up to a rescue helicopter.

    At 2.45 p.m. 11 men were taken out of the water and the helicopter was heading towards Hammerfest, Norway.

    A second helicopter was sent from Hammerfest to pick up the remaining three who were recovered safely from the vessel and also taken to Hammerfest.

    The first two were hoisted actually fell into the fell.

    The "Kamaro" had suffered engine failure south of Bjørnøya.
