On July 30, 2018, the 'Røst' had to be taken out of service, and divers from the lifeboat 'Sundt Flyer' went down to check if the ferry had an issue with the propeller. It eventually became apparent that there was a leak which needed to be repaired in a yard. The 'Hamarøy' which usually is serving the Lødingen - Bognes route was inserted to replace the ferry which was waiting for dock space in Svolvær now.
