Bering Yachts and RMK Yachts partner to build exploration superyachts over 500 GT, including polar-capable designs for adventurous cruising.
Bering Yachts and RMK Yachts have signed an agreement for the construction of exploration superyachts over 500 GT. The collaboration also encompasses projects capable of navigating polar regions.
Bering Yachts announced the cooperation agreement for the construction of large exploration superyachts on October 2, 2026. The agreement combines Bering's long-range exploration yacht designs with RMK's engineering and shipbuilding infrastructure.
Projects in the range of 500–3,000 GT are targeted.
Under the collaboration, superyachts in the range of 500–3,000 GT will be developed and customized according to customer demands.
Bering Yachts will be responsible for directing the design, brand identity, and customer relations. RMK Yachts will provide engineering platforms and construction infrastructure for larger and technically comprehensive projects.
Polar class yachts are also included in this initiative.
Alexei Mikhailov, Founder and CEO of Bering Yachts, reported that the primary focus at RMK facilities will be on the construction of superyachts over 40 meters and 500 GT. Mikhailov noted that vessels with polar class capabilities are also being considered within this scope, and discussions with potential clients have begun.
Design and construction expertise converge in this partnership.
Kristina Güner, Creative Director of Bering Yachts, stated that the agreement will enable the company to extend its approach to exploration yachting into larger projects.
In the company's statement, it was emphasized that RMK's experience with ice-class and polar-class vessels is aimed to be utilized in yachts developed for navigation in high latitudes. The projects will focus on long-range cruising capabilities, living spaces, comfort, and advanced ship systems.
