Zonguldak Port Authority staff undergo vital first aid training to improve emergency response and safety measures at the port.
Personnel at the Zonguldak Regional Port Authority recently completed comprehensive first aid training aimed at enabling quick and effective responses to potential accidents and health emergencies.
The training program took place in the Port Authority's meeting room and was attended by staff from various units within the port. Derya Kayınova, an instructor from the Zonguldak Provincial Health Directorate, led the training sessions.
Participants learned essential skills, including basic life support, initial interventions for falls from heights, drowning situations, patient transport techniques, and appropriate emergency response methods. The training was enhanced through scenario exercises and practical applications using models.
Authorities emphasized that such training initiatives are crucial for raising awareness among port personnel, ultimately shortening emergency response times and mitigating potential risks. Plans are in place to conduct this training regularly to ensure personnel remain well-prepared.
