The 'Seikongen' which sank in Pilpilehue in the province of Chiloé will be refloated on July 11. The salvors were already in a final approval process. Issues with the positioning of the anchors which could also have caused a delay were resolved. They were put back in place and tests were to be carried out on July 10. Castro's maritime governor, Hector Aravena, finalized the planning of the operation with the Ardent company and the owner CPT on July 8. The salvage costs will be around five million Dollars.
