Columbia Group has strengthened its presence in the region by opening a larger and more modern office in Istanbul to support its operations in Turkey.
The new office will be jointly used with Italmar Horizon Turkey, a joint venture between Columbia Group and Italmar Group. This move is expected to reinforce the collaboration between the two companies while creating a more efficient and integrated working environment among the teams.
The relocation, carried out in parallel with the increasing volume of the company's activities in Turkey, aims to respond to the growing workforce structure and expanding operational needs. With the larger office space, it is targeted that the Columbia Shipmanagement Turkey team will broaden its range of services and develop new business opportunities across the region beyond the existing customer portfolio. This development underscores the company's commitment to the maritime sector in Turkey.
Özgür Güneş, General Manager of Columbia Shipmanagement Turkey, stated in his evaluation of the matter that the new office in Istanbul is a significant step in the company's growth process in Turkey, saying, 'Thanks to our global office network, we will continue to provide high-standard services to Turkish shipowners and operators.
