Ukrainian Railways restricts UTLC-marked grain wagons for cargo to Reni and Reni-Nalyv, effective November 3, impacting regional shipments.
According to the temporary restrictions list dated November 3 from Ukrainian Railways (Ukrzaliznytsia), the company's UTLC-marked grain wagons will not be allocated for cargoes heading to the Reni and Reni-Nalyv stations. The decision numbered ЦД/94, dated October 30, covers wagons identified with the code 95 in the railway records.
The decision numbered ЦД/93, which came into effect on the same day, encompasses shipments towards Ukraine, Moldova, and Romania via Reni's two export stations, as well as Reni-Nalyv and Reni-Port-Export. The restriction on these routes is also limited to grain wagons bearing the same marking from the same operator.
Separate decisions were made for the same type of grain wagons at the Vadul-Siret border crossing opened to Romania. The official railway record indicates that the acceptance of wagons and cargo is permitted on the 1,435-millimeter wide track at the Vadul-Siret station.
