CEYO cargo ship, facing engine failure, was safely towed and anchored in Tuzla by SHARK Tugboat, as confirmed by the General Directorate of Coastal Safety.
The General Directorate of Coastal Safety announced on its social media account that an intervention was made for the bulk carrier named CEYO, which experienced a machinery failure in the Tuzla Iron Area.
According to the statement, the 97-meter-long bulk carrier was placed under operation under the coordination of the Izmit Vessel Traffic Services Center. The vessel was safely towed by the SHARK Tugboat.
As a result of the conducted operation, the vessel named CEYO was safely anchored in the Tuzla Iron Area.
Authorities reported that the operation was successfully completed without any adverse incidents.
