Celestyal's new Kids’ Club program offers engaging activities for children aged 3-16 on select Mediterranean voyages.
Celestyal has launched a new Kids’ Club program on the Celestyal Journey and Celestyal Discovery ships, featuring age-specific activities for children aged 3 to 16.
Following a successful trial implementation on both ships during the summer season of 2026, the program will be applied on specific voyages conducted in the Mediterranean, Adriatic, and Greek Islands during school holiday periods. The new program is divided into four different age groups:
Little Sailors: 3-5 years
Young Explorers: 6-9 years
Teen Travelers: 10-12 years
Young Passengers: 13-16 years
Activities vary according to the travel route, voyage, and age group. The program offers a wide range of events, including painting, drawing, LEGO, puzzles, and board games; arts and crafts, treasure hunts; as well as football, basketball, tennis, table tennis, and dance lessons, along with game activities, karaoke, and mini discos.
The program is conducted in the Kids’ Zone on the 12th deck of Celestyal Journey and in the Kids’ Club areas on the 10th deck of Celestyal Discovery. Some activities are also organized in different areas of the ship and in sports facilities.
“The Mediterranean is a fantastic destination for families to explore together,” said Janet Parton, Vice President of Marketing, PR, and Customer Experience at Celestyal, regarding the new program. “However, a good vacation also needs to provide opportunities for everyone to have their own special time. Feedback from the trial we conducted this summer showed that children greatly enjoyed having a dedicated program and making new friends on board, while parents appreciated having more flexibility to spend quality time together.”
Children aged 5 and older are not required to have their parents or guardians present during the planned Kids’ Club activities. However, children aged 3 and 4 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the activities.
