The İMEAK DTO Karadeniz Ereğli Branch is relocating to a historic 19th-century mansion in Zonguldak, enhancing local maritime services.
The İMEAK Chamber of Shipping (DTO) Karadeniz Ereğli Branch is preparing to move to the historic mansion it purchased in the Karadeniz Ereğli district of Zonguldak. The two-story wooden building from the 19th century, located in Yenimahalle, will serve as the new service center for the chamber.
The management of the İMEAK DTO Karadeniz Ereğli Branch has acquired the historic mansion in the Yenimahalle neighborhood of the district as part of its long-standing efforts to obtain its own service building. The building, which was previously purchased and restored by businessman Oğuz Karahan, was successfully negotiated for the acquisition.
The two-story historic mansion, which spans an area of 820 square meters and contains 16 rooms, has now become the property of the Karadeniz Ereğli Branch of the Chamber of Shipping.
Preparations for the move to the chamber's new service building have begun. The relocation process is expected to be completed in approximately two months. Thus, the İMEAK DTO Karadeniz Ereğli Branch will continue its activities in its own historic building.
The exact opening date of the new service building has not yet been announced.
While preparations for the move to the new service building at the İMEAK DTO Karadeniz Ereğli Branch continue, the elections for the management and council presidency have also been completed.
Following the elections conducted under judicial supervision, Oğuz Ünlüer was re-elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors.
The principal members of the Board of Directors have been appointed as Cemil Burak Gürdal, Kağan Boy, Burçin Başsarıoğlu, and Ahmet Zurnacı.
In the first council meeting held after the elections, Kamil Ustamehmetoğlu was elected as the Council President, while Hasan Tahsin Karaer was elected as the Deputy Council President.
With the determination of the management and council team that will serve in the new term, the process of moving to the new service building of the Karadeniz Ereğli Branch is also continuing.
