Celestyal launches 7, 14, and 21-night cruises in the Western Mediterranean, featuring Spain, Portugal, and Morocco, starting at €469.
Celestyal, which opens to the Western Mediterranean, is preparing to welcome its guests with 7, 14, and 21-night itineraries covering Spain, Portugal, and Morocco.
The new program, which will be carried out with the Celestyal Discovery ship, has a capacity of 1,360 passengers and prices starting from 469 Euros. This marks an important milestone for the cruise company.
A total of 14 new ports in the Mediterranean will be visited as part of the program that offers a seamless experience between the Eastern Mediterranean and the Western Mediterranean. The 'Mediterranean Riviera,' organized as a positioning program departing from Kuşadası, extends to Messina, Naples, Civitavecchia, Nice, and Barcelona. Celestyal has added new routes to its winter programs for 2026-2028.
With this significant move, which is considered an important milestone for the cruise company, it plans to reinforce and deepen its expertise in the Mediterranean.
Celestyal had previously announced that it canceled its planned Gulf program for the 2026/27 winter season and decided to extend the current Eastern Mediterranean season instead. In the 2026/27 winter season, Celestyal Discovery will depart from its home port in Kuşadası to Barcelona on November 28, 2026. After completing two Mediterranean Odyssey voyages, the ship will embark on a repositioning cruise on January 2, 2027. Thus, under the new program, Celestyal ships will operate to 14 new ports with new routes opening to the West.
The Mediterranean Program includes two main routes, one of which is repositioning: the 7-night Mediterranean Splendor starting at 469 Euros! The Mediterranean Odyssey: Spain, Portugal & Morocco route brings together the most remarkable destinations in Spain, Portugal, and Morocco, offering overnight stops in both Barcelona (Tarragona) and Lisbon ports, longer stays at selected ports, and visits to lesser-known destinations.
Under the 14-night program, the ship will visit the ports of Malaga (with late stays), Gibraltar, Casablanca (with late stays), Cadiz, Lisbon (overnight), Tangier, Valencia, Palma de Mallorca, Sète, and Barcelona (Tarragona) (overnight). Program prices start from 819 Euros per person. This route is also offered as two different 7-night options. Guests can travel either from Barcelona (Tarragona) to Lisbon or from Lisbon to Barcelona (Tarragona).
Prices for the 7-night programs start from 469 Euros per person.
With the 'Mediterranean Riviera' starting from Kuşadası, exploration from Naples to Nice is available for 489 Euros! Another program supporting the Western Mediterranean program is the Mediterranean Rivieras program. Completing the Mediterranean Odyssey program, the 'Mediterranean Riviera program,' organized as a repositioning route, consists of two 7-night itineraries between Kuşadası and Barcelona (Tarragona). Thus, guests will be able to experience a seamless cruise journey between the Eastern Mediterranean and the Western Mediterranean. The program departing from Kuşadası includes the ports of Messina (Sicily), Naples, Civitavecchia (with late stays), Nice, and Barcelona (Tarragona) (overnight), while the return voyage will be carried out in the opposite direction of the same route.
Program prices start from 489 Euros per person.
For those who wish, a total of 21-night Grand Mediterranean Discovery allows guests to create a comprehensive cruise experience of 21 nights by adding the 7-night Mediterranean Riviera program to the Mediterranean Splendor route.
Those interested can also add the existing 4-night 'Iconic Aegean' program for a total of 26 nights on a special Mediterranean journey.
All cruise packages include meals, non-alcoholic beverages, Wi-Fi, port fees, and gratuities. Celestyal Turkey Director Özgü Alnıtemiz stated that the new program will attract interest from Turkish guests, saying: 'We have been known for over a decade for providing our guests with authentic and destination-focused cruise experiences in the Greek Islands and the Eastern Mediterranean. Now is the time to bring the same understanding to the Western Mediterranean and connect our guests with new destinations. We have worked meticulously to create routes that reflect the true character of the Western Mediterranean, rather than just visiting the most popular ports. In addition to overnight stays in Barcelona and Lisbon, we have included destinations like Sète that are waiting to be discovered, and by allowing longer stays at some ports, we aim to help our guests establish stronger connections with the places they visit. Whether our guests choose the 7-night route between Barcelona and Lisbon or the flagship 14-night Mediterranean Odyssey program, they will have the opportunity to explore the Western Mediterranean in its most authentic form with Celestyal's destination-focused approach.'
