In Antalya, boats taken ashore for maintenance have suffered severe damage due to harsh weather conditions. Governor Şahin described the incident as a 'disaster' and stated that necessary actions would be taken.

A large number of boats taken ashore for maintenance and repair in Antalya have sustained significant damage due to the severe weather conditions. Strong winds and storms led to capsizing and collisions in the areas where the boats were moored.

Following the incident, Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin, who conducted inspections in the region, characterized the events as a 'disaster.' Governor Şahin indicated that damage assessment work has been initiated and stated that all necessary steps would be taken to address the grievances.

Boats Collided, Significant Damage Occurred. It was reported that due to the strong winds, some boats slipped off their cradles, while others collided with each other, causing serious damage to their hulls and superstructures. Initial assessments suggest that a significant portion of the damaged boats has become unusable.

Damage Assessment and Investigation Initiated. While damage assessment work is ongoing by relevant institutions under the coordination of the governorship, security measures have been increased in the areas where the incident occurred. Authorities noted that the mooring and securing systems in maintenance areas would also be reviewed to prevent similar situations from occurring again.

After the preparation of a detailed report regarding the incident, it is expected that insurance and administrative processes will become clearer.
