AVS Global Initiates Collaboration with Marine ETS for Measurement and Reporting of Greenhouse Gas Emissions
AVS Global has taken another significant step in line with its sustainability goals and environmental responsibility approach by signing a collaboration agreement with Marine ETS Limited for the measurement and reporting of corporate greenhouse gas emissions of its group companies.
During the meeting and signing ceremony, Marine ETS Managing Director Tuğçe Ustamehmetoğlu and Business Development Manager Hatice Erdoğan met with the AVS Global team. The discussions covered the scope of the work, organizational and reporting boundaries, data collection processes, and the roadmap for calculating Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions.
As part of the collaboration, emission data arising from the activities of AVS Global's group companies will be systematically addressed; direct emissions, emissions from purchased energy sources, and other indirect emissions in the value chain will be calculated in accordance with relevant standards to create a corporate greenhouse gas inventory.
In the later stages of the work, the analysis of the data, assessment of emission sources, and preparation of the corporate greenhouse gas report are targeted. Thus, AVS Global will strengthen its data infrastructure for future sustainability efforts by tracking its environmental performance through measurable data.
AVS Global HSEQ Akşen Ataseven commented on the collaboration, stating:
