The Cenk T vessel was attacked by a ballistic missile while docked at the port of Chornomorsk, Ukraine. Fortunately, preliminary reports confirm that there were no casualties or injuries among the crew.
According to initial information received by Denizhaber, authorities are currently examining the cause of the attack and assessing the extent of the damage to the vessel. Security forces and maritime authorities in the region are actively conducting investigations related to the incident.
Cenk Maritime issued a press release stating that their vessel, M/V CENK T, which operates on the Karasu – Odesa route, was subjected to the missile attack today at 16:00 local time.
Following the attack, a fire broke out on the bow side of the vessel. This was promptly addressed by tugs, port firefighting units, and the ship's crew. Efforts to control the fire are ongoing, and so far, there have been no reports of casualties or injuries. Current information indicates that the damage is solely material.
