Air Transport International pilots ratify a four-year contract enhancing pay, benefits, and work-life balance, ensuring operational stability.
Pilots at Air Transport International, a subsidiary of Air Transport Services Group, have ratified a new four-year collective bargaining agreement, reports London's Air Cargo News.
The deal was approved by a strong majority of participating pilots represented by the Air Line Pilots Association. It includes improvements to pay, retirement benefits, scheduling, and quality of life, while maintaining operational flexibility to support ATI's business commitments.
ATI President Mike Betson stated that the agreement provides a stable framework that supports long-term financial health and competitiveness. He praised the professionalism of the ALPA negotiating team and the pilots during the process.
ATSG President and Chief Executive Greg Mays remarked that the ratification is a milestone for both ATI and ATSG, underpinning the reliability of the group's integrated network of leasing, air transport, and maintenance services. He noted that this stability will allow ATSG to expand its growth strategy with confidence.
Contract negotiations in 2024 had raised the possibility of strike action when talks stalled, but the new agreement resolves those disputes and secures commitments for the next four years.
