President Trump announces the U.S. has sunk nine Iranian naval vessels and is targeting more, alongside significant damage to Iran's naval headquarters.
U.S. President Donald Trump commented on ongoing attacks against Iran in a post on his social media account.
Trump stated, 'I just learned that we have destroyed and sunk 9 ships belonging to the Iranian navy.'
Noting that some of the ships were quite large and significant, Trump added, 'We are pursuing the remaining ones; soon they too will be swimming at the bottom of the sea.'
He also announced that in another attack, Iran's naval headquarters was largely destroyed.
