    Deputy Minister Carlos Guevara Mann highlights 25 years of Panama Canal management at DTO conference, emphasizing its global trade significance.

    Panama's Deputy Minister of Multilateral Affairs and Cooperation, Carlos Guevara Mann, visited Tamer Kıran, Chairman of the Board of the İMEAK Chamber of Shipping (DTO), at the DTO Headquarters. During the visit, Mann delivered a conference titled 'Panama Canal: 25 Years of Panama Administration' in the DTO Assembly Hall.

    In the conference, the administrative and operational experiences gained over the 25-year period since the transfer of the Panama Canal to Panama's administration were shared with the participants.

    In his opening speech at the event, DTO Chairman Tamer Kıran emphasized the strategic importance of the Panama Canal for global maritime trade.

    The program was also attended by Board Member İsmail Görgün, Assembly Member Cihat Yavuz Güler, and Discipline Committee Chairman Attorney Mehmet Hakan Tüfekçi. The Panama delegation included Ambassador Karina Arias Fonseca from Ankara and Consul General Juan Jaime Delvalle from Istanbul.
