RECENTLY, the airasia Cambodia (flight code KT) soared into operation with its inaugural domestic flight from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap, boasting nearly full passenger capacity, reports Sydney's Asian Aviation.
The departure of flight KT102, bound for Siem Reap, was bid farewell by AirAsia Aviation Group CEO Bo Lingam and AirAsia Cambodia CEO Vissoth Nam, alongside AirAsia management and Allstars.
The maiden flight took off from Phnom Penh International Airport at 7.40am and touched down at Siem Reap Angkor International Airport at 8.30am local time.
Following this successful launch, the airline will extend its services to connect Siem Reap with Sihanoukville, thus linking three key domestic destinations within Cambodia.
These inaugural routes underscore AirAsia Cambodia's dedication to bolstering connectivity and offering affordable, convenient travel options for Cambodian residents and visitors.
