Maintaining their position as the fifth largest global foundry by revenue, China's Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corp (SMIC), increased its market share quarter to quarter by one per cent to five per cent, according to a report by Taiwan market intelligence firm TrendForce.
HHGrace and HLMC, both subsidiaries of Shanghai Hua Hong Group, each held one per cent market share, unchanged from the last quarter of 2020, but combined pushed Hua Hong up to sixth place from No 9 in the previous quarter.
