ABU BI's Aviation Investment Group officially took ownership of the on-demand private aircraft charter platform, Fly Victor, reports New Jersey's Aviation International News.
Gulf-based investors acquired all outstanding shares from Fly Victor founder Clive Jackson.
Based in London, Fly Victor shared that its new owners plan to finance the platform's expansion into new markets.
While specific details of the growth plans are yet to be disclosed, the company indicated in a press release that it will enhance the flight booking platform's customer service and hire specialised staff with in-depth knowledge of the target markets.
Aviation Investment Group will have representation on the Fly Victor board as part of the ownership transition.
The board will include co-CEOs Toby Edwards and James Farley as well as finance director Stuart Manning.
This leadership team was instrumental in a management buyout from previous owners Alyssum Group in March 2020.
'The acquisition will provide the financial and strategic backing to make our vision a reality,' said Mr Edwards.
'This includes Victor continuing to take a leadership role in making aviation more sustainable and adopting the most credible carbon emission reduction solutions such as sustainable aviation fuel.'
