The 'Zao Galaxy', under conduct of a pilot, was disabled in the Georgia Strait, British Columbia, in position lat 49 17.9N, 123 18 36W, on Apr 2, 2018, at 2 p.m. The vessel anchored with tug assistance to carry out repairs. On Apr 3 it sailed from Vancouver anchorage, bound to Los Angeles, ETA Apr 7, 4 p.m.

    This is exactly what concerns British Columbians about the prospect of the Kinder Morgan/Trans Canada pipeline-and-tanker project. We could not survive even one spill of the Tar Sands heavy oil that they would carry.
