Divers are expected to start an operation on Monday to check the location of the missing dry cargo ship freighter Amurskaya, its hull reportedly found earlier on Sunday in the Sea of Okhotsk, the VoR`s correspondent says.
The operation was postponed until tomorrow due to strong currents in the area, where a Be-200 aerial reconnaissance plane previously spotted oil stains on the water.
The echo depth sounder detected that some object is lying at the depth of 25 meters.
The Amurskaya ship with nine crewmembers and 700 tons of gold ore on board – 100 tons more than its maximum carrying capacity - went missing a week ago.
