WAN Hai Lines has held a naming ceremony for its new 4,532-TEU containership, which it christened the "WAN HAI 511" at China Ship Building Corps shipyard in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
The shipping line said in a statement that there are a total of 14 ships on order from CSBC, comprising four vessels of 1,800 TEU, four vessels of 1,000 TEU and six 4,500 TEU ships, which are slated for delivery in two years.
It said the newbuilding "is equipped with the latest and most advanced naval technologies in order to guarantee quality services to both Wan Hai's network and the customers."
