Senior representatives of Statoil in Norway paid a visit to Sanmar’s construction hall in Turkey to audit the current production status of the two LNG propelled tugs and check on the HSE regime in place at the shipyard since their last visit. Statoil officials pay regular follow-up visits to checkprogress on the vessels they will be chartering from the owners, Buksér og Berging AS, also of Norway.
The Sanmar team made detailed presentations about its Quality System and HSE Management System including SANMAR HSE Statistical Report for two tugboats for the first 5 months of 2013. This report includes the Observation Reports, Near Miss Reports, Incidents, Environmental Incidents etc.
The records regarding the constant training of the production team were submitted as well as details of future scheduled training events such as First Aid & Fire Fighting trainings by the third party.
Reports were made to illustrate how the Integrated Quality-HSE Management System in Sanmar covers every procedure of the shipyard production facilities at all stages.
The Statoil team returned home totally satisfied with their visit.
