The 'Raduga Europe' with the barge 'Karson' on tow, which was loaded with 10.762 tons of stone, dragged anchor and started to drift on July 1, 2018, at 4 a.m. on the outer Kaliningrad anchorage five miles off the coast. The tug 'Argo' (IMO: 9724269) was ordered to assist. At 12.37 p.m. both were under tow of the tug 'Pluton' (IMO: 8027121), destined to Baltiysk port. In the evening of July 2 the convoy had not yet a permission to enter Baltiysk because of rough weather and was waiting in pos. 54° 58.02' N 020° 19.07' E.
