On Feb 13 a diving survey of the "Victoria" was carried out, showing that there was a 50 meter long and 20 centimeters wide gash in the bottom. However, the risk of a major oil spill was limited. It looked as if the oil was solidified by the encounter with the cold water, and thus did not leak at this time. Despite the fact that the air defense had more planes and helicopters in the area and ships on the site , there were no new discoveries of oil. Small clumps of oil had floated ashore on Endelave and the coast between Horsens and Vejle Fjord. Also seabirds have been affected. It was still not firmly established that the oil came from the "Victoria", but the assumption was nearby. The Danish Defense continued to observe the area and inserted the evironment vessel "Miljø 103" which has the advantage that it can combat oil spills in shallow water, and thus very close to the coast.
