Seaspan takes delivery of sixth 4,600-TEU vessel on charter to MOL
SEASPAN, an independent charter owner and container lessor, has accepted delivery of the MOL Efficiency, the sixth of eight 4,600-TEU ships, built by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in 2003 to expand the company's operating fleet to 71 vessels.
The MOL Efficiency is on charter to Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) under a two-year, fixed-rate time charter. Seaspan is headquartered in Vancouver, but operated from Hong Kong.
